    Speed Limit Area
     
    Within the following areas vessel must navigate below 10 knots and pay particular attention to navigating at a safe speed. DAESAN, TAEAN and BORYEONG Harbour Limit.s
     
    Restriction on Entry
     
    1. Navigation may be restricted in low visibility (less than 500m).
    2. Entry and departure may be restricted in dangerous situations.

    Vessels entering or leaving VTS Area should comply with the reporting procedures (See pages DSN 3 and 6). All vessels shall keep watch on the appropriate working frequency.

    Vessels shall notify VTS of any of the following as soon as is practicable:
    - A marine casualty, pollution incident or other incident affecting safety
    - Involvement in a collision with a fixed or floating object
    - A defect or discrepancy in an aid to navigation
    - Improper operation of vessel’s equipment

    Pilotage is compulsory for all foreign vessels and all vessels over

    Notes:
    During conditions of vessel congestion, restricted visibility, adverse weather, or other hazardous circumstances, the VTS may manage traffic by specifying times of entry, movement, or departure to, from, or within, the VTS area.
     
    Fishing or sailing operations are prohibited in the port area.
     
    Navigation trials or speed trials are prohibited in the fairways without prior approval.
